The accelerated development of technology over the past decade has resulted in profound changes, pushing numerous industries, including healthcare, to upgrade their internal operational procedures. With the incorporation of technologies ranging from basic email communication to AI-based diagnostics, the healthcare system has undergone a paradigm shift, ushering in a new era of eHealth.
Despite the fact that eHealth has become an expected standard, it is essential to recognise the reservations that beneficiaries exhibit towards futuristic applications. In light of this, this study employs a showroom methodology to investigate diverse perspectives on the utilisation and implementation of technology in healthcare.
The primary objective of this study is to initiate a discussion on the acceptability levels of technology in one's health journey, using ethos, pathos, and logos as classification factors for the analysis. For the purpose of facilitating this study, a discussion board containing numerous eHealth scenarios was created. Using the responses of over 30 participants as a guide, a set of design values was determined.
This study's findings provide a solid foundation for future research aimed at analysing the level of daily adoption of eHealth applications.
